RJ Byrd has been engaged to locate a Finance Systems Manager for our client located in the Irving area. This company is in the software space catering to the healthcare industry.
As the Finance Systems Manager, this individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the financial systems.
- Implement and utilize financial, forecasting and budgeting systems
- Provide technical support across multiple applications and databases used to maintain data accuracy, ability to create dimensions/hierarchies/lists in financial planning systems
- Power user and administer of financial planning system, process, workflow optimization and general support to financial systems
- Perform and co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing for new system implementations and upgrades
- Responsible for the support of users for various financial applications within the company to ensure process efficiency and financial data accuracy to support business operations
- Maintain controls and user access to financial systems
- Partner with BI team, to automate various reports in Looker as needed by business
- Train end users to be self-sufficient in building reports and using data from looker
- Support various ad-hoc analyses
- Optimize and automate financial modeling
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting
- 5-7 years of experience managing and implementing financial systems
- Experience with NetSuite/accounting systems
- Strong project management stills
- Self-motivated and can work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Data driven with analytical ability to synthesize the data into insights
- Ability to influence business partners and leadership
- Can thrive as a team player and individual contributor
