RJ Byrd has been engaged to locate a Financial Analyst for our client in the Dallas, TX area. The organization is a holding company for several well-known franchise names.
As the Financial Analyst, this individual will be responsible for supporting the organizations business plan by reporting, forecasting, financial and statistical analysis, and generating Board level materials and presentations.
- Assist with the preparation and review of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for multiple units and brands
- Monitor and forecast cash flow
- Work with other departments to provide financial insights and relevant reporting
- Prepare and distribute monthly and periodic financial, operational and sales reports, including pro-forma financial statements and the monthly financial package
- Create models, templates and ad hoc reports to support management evaluations and decisions
- Assist with month-end financial closing process, to include reviewing and researching discrepancies, and providing explanations for variances to plan
- Create Board materials and presentations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of corporate FP&A or forecasting and budgeting responsibilities over multiple entities/brands
- Experience with M&A and Private Equity Investors preferred
- Experience with NetSuite and/or MS Dynamics Great Plains
- Ability to analyze and interrupt large sets of data from multiple sources
- Ability to perform reconciliations and variance analysis, to identify discrepancies and suggest resolutions as necessary
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, and best practices
- Must be customer-focused, detail-oriented and be comfortable working with various levels of the organization
