Network Administration and Support

Provide system-level support for clients’ operating systems, HW/SW tools including installation, configuration, and maintenance. This position requires analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Evaluating companies’ systems infrastructure
  • Preparing cost effective network configurations and technology solutions
  • Gathering and analyzing business / technical requirements and objectives, perform gap analysis, and provide recommended solutions
  • Providing key decision support to clients
  • Ability to work on multiple assigned projects
  • Drives process improvement

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on a team and independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or relevant experience and training
  • Microsoft MCTS or higher certification, as this client is a MS Gold Partner
  • 3+ years in network design and support
  • Strong experience and confidence in the following: IT systems operating procedures and network protocols, principles and practices of application programming,  application networking and system software products, multiple backup technologies including Tape/Disk/Cloud and understanding use cases each may be applied
  • Previous experience with multi-vendor Microsoft environments including Windows desktop OS, Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Cloud Solutions Azure, DevOps, Microsoft 365, Intune
  • Expertise with support and administration Microsoft Office and O365
  • Wireless Infrastructure
  • Hyper-V/VMWare
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Hardening Techniques & Best Practices
  • Posses awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans
  • Possess excellent communications and presentation skills to interact with outside clients
  • Organized and detail-orientated
