Recruiting Coordinator

RJ Byrd has been engaged to locate a Recruiting Coordinator for our client. This is a hybrid position but looking for someone in the East Texas area. For over 30 years, this client has had a solid track record of success and reliability in a changing energy economy.

  • Actively maintains applicant data related to all resumes and skill assessment information for current and past employees and applicants to be able to identify or screen out potential applicants for positions or assignments, including Culture Index (CI) surveys
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting including job posting, social media recruitment, sourcing, pre-screening via face-to-face or virtual interviews, coordination of management interviews and selection of candidates.  
  • Posts all positions online – company website, LinkedIn recruitment, other social media (i.e. Facebook Careers page)
  • Works with Head of People regarding improvements in the recruiting process to minimize cycle time of vacant positions
  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification
  • Recommends offers of employment to HR/People Team and once accepted offers are in place, schedules and coordinates reference checks and other required post-offer criteria and onboarding activities
  • Develop proactive and creative recruiting sourcing strategies and proactively build a robust pipeline of diverse talent, including active and passive candidate sourcing, cold-calling, and internet-based sourcing
  • Participate in industry specific recruiting events and other relevant networking organizations; participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives
  • Aggressively manage requisitions and anticipate department needs within each division to deliver high quality talent
  • Provide reports and requested information related to recruiting metrics as requested, including daily updating of Recruitment Tracker in MS Teams

QUALIFICATIONS          

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or other applicable field 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role with some HR experience 
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems; must be proficient w/ technology, learn systems quickly and have an extreme eye for detail
  • General knowledge of current employment law is required
  • Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and efficiency
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Must be willing to accept regular changes of direction in work and priorities with a positive attitude
  • Must be a proactive thinker

COMPENSATION

$60-70K annually
