Revenue Cycle Team Lead

RJ Byrd is assisting a DFW based health care organization with their search for a Revenue Cycle Team Lead.

  • Gather and prepare insurance reimbursements for manual or electronic posting to appropriate office accounts
  • Manage exception and error reports associated with insurance rejections, offsets & withholdings, misapplied & unapplied payments, charges, returned checks, as well research discrepancies
  • Provide auditors, billers, and other claims tracers with assistance in the follow-up of outstanding claims payments
  • Ensure compliance with organization policies, along with State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies
  • Be present and available for teammates, serve as first point of contact regarding employment related and job function concerns
  • Participate as active member of leadership team to problem solve issues, performance management, and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics
  • Review and evaluate teammate productivity and quality according to QA Policy
  • Monitor team attendance and paid time off requests, coordinate requests to meet business needs
  • Run weekly productivity and aging reports, coordinate with team to verify appropriate and compliant account follow ups are performed, partner with the Revenue Cycle Manager to report results
  • Delegate task assignments to team
  • Monitor and/or complete special projects, verify deadlines are met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Team Lead and Revenue Cycle experience 
  • Respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Required experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, possess problem solving skills, and be a multitasker
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Manage daily operations of the department while developing short- and long-term goals

  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service while keeping in line with compliance of company policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ability to direct and manage a team to help reach daily and monthly targets
