The power of nonverbal communication
Surveys have shown that within the first five minutes of the interview, half of job interviewers have already sized up the candidate. Because you may have only a few minutes to make your best impression, body language is key. Always greet the interviewer with a firm handshake, and make sure you’re not slouching while sitting because that may insinuate that you’re a weak individual. While talking and listening, remember to look them in the eye. As mentioned before, it’s all about showing confidence.
