RJ Byrd has been engaged by a manufacturing client located in North Dallas to identify an Operations leader. The leader will be responsible for directing and coordinating daily business while overseeing company policies, procedures and guidelines.
In addition to overseeing business activities, this position will be challenged with developing and mentoring others, interacting with sales, HR and other business units to ensure team cohesiveness.
- Lead the company Mission and Core Values by example and with confidence
- Develop business strategies for enhancing customer relationships and acquiring new business regionally and nationally, through company success, culture enhancement and goals
- Play an active role in development of company efficiencies and risk management for the overall success and health of the company
- Manage through clear communication to reach company and individual goals through accountability, in a motivating and non-intimidating manner
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business curriculum
- 5+ years experience in a leadership role with a track record of success and upward mobility within the industries of manufacturing, distribution, warehousing or other similar discipline
- Passion for industry related statistic and analytics, trends and forecasts
- Strong Office365, QuickBooks experience, and familiarity with ERP systems
- Ability to inspire and motivate others and oversee their growth and accomplishments
- Proactive in nature and ability to resolve bottlenecks and other obstacles
- Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written
- Be in a constant state of improvement and curious to explore ways to promote quality over quantity delivered on a timely basis
- Observe safety and security procedures
