Marketing Coordinator

RJ Byrd is seeking a strong Marketing Coordinator for a reputable client in the Dallas, TX area. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Identify PR and social media opportunities, assist in the development of press releases, monitor deadlines and regularly post content to the company’s social media accounts.
  • Assist in drafting documents for client meetings (i.e., written materials and PowerPoint presentations), creating bios and announcements for new hires and collecting information for internal and external newsletters.
  • Help with the implementation of the Firm’s CRM and matter collection systems by inputting and editing data and setting up mailing lists.
  • Coordinate client events from beginning to end, including compiling invitee lists, drafting and distributing invitations, monitoring RSVPs, working with outside vendors, creating nametags, helping with check-in and assisting attorneys with follow-up efforts.
  • Assist in drafting new content for all the Firm’s practice areas, collects and revises matter descriptions and seeks approval to use information externally.
  • Track inventory of the company’s branded items and places new orders as necessary.
  • Review and edit internal and external materials to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency.
  • Help track and evaluate sponsorship opportunities throughout the year, collaborate with internal and external contacts to fulfill sponsorship obligations and manage the companies local and industry-focused memberships.
  • Work with various departments in the Firm to collect information and draft annual surveys and award submissions for individual attorneys, practices and offices.
  • Assist with updating the website on a regular basis, including updating attorney bios with new experiences and rankings; adding press releases, media coverage, articles and presentations to the “Newsroom”; keeping the “Events” calendar up to date; and refreshing practice descriptions as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or other related degrees
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in professional services or media environment
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Computer skills, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of individuals
  • Ability to multitask efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ok with working in office/ hybrid schedule
