In this role you will design, modify, develop, and implement software solutions in a professional environment. Participate in the testing process by test reviews and analysis of software defects, using a tracking system, and certification of software defect corrections. Users of these software products are external, so a keen eye to detail will be necessary to carry out the following tasks:
- Implement new software features, user stories, and bug fixes
- Partner with product management in achieving development objectives driven by the product roadmap, customer requirements, and production support needs
- Perform regression testing, error or logic tests or usability assessments
- Perform logic verification, release testing and beta support for assigned projects
- Drives process improvement
- Perform manual testing to ensure software meets stated design requirements
- Uphold existing quality assurance standards and processes
- Identify defects within software against standards
- Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans
- Exhibit communications and interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS
You must be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team. This position requires analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for detail and accuracy. Responsibilities include support and/or installation of software applications. Position also requires customer interaction concerning maintenance of software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline and/or relevant combination of training and education, certifications strongly preferred.
- Ability to support and interact with customer base on software concerns or issues
- Ability to prepare technical step-by-step documentation of completed tests
- Provide necessary solutions for problems discovered during software deployments and document defect behavior
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects and meet critical deadlines
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft development tools
- 3+ years experience with web development technologies (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript); progressive web application (PWA) and related technologies a plus
- Experience with Structured Query Languages, including Transact-SQL and SQL Lite
- Experience designing MS SQL Server databases to model business processes and information a plus
- Experience with .Net Winforms
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps Services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts) desired
- Experience with Engineering/Construction Industry ERPs a plus
- Organized and detail-orientated
